Association Generale Chine-Afrique（Abbreviated as AGCA）is a non-profit semi-official organization, which was sponsored by China and the seven African countries including Madagascar, South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Mauritius, Zambia and Tanzania, approved by the government of Madagascar in its capital Antananarivo and registered in accordance with legal procedures. Its license was issued by the Ministry of public security.
The first member countries of AGCA included China, South Africa, Madagascar and other sponsoring countries. The President of South Africa Jacob Zuma, President of Mauritius Amena Gulibu Faji Jim and other Presidents of the countries were invited to serve as the Honorary Chairman of AGCA. The former President of Madagascar Laziraka and the standing member of the National Committee of CPPCC and Vice Chairman of the Economic Committee Hu Deping were both invited to serve as the Honorary Chairman of AGCA. The Chairman of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development was invited to serve as the Chief Consultant. Ms. Lyu Zhenzhen was invited to serve as the Chairman of AGCA.
AGCA aims to strengthen the economic and trade exchanges and promote investment cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and African countries with high-end platforms and a complete service system to realize the common development of China and African countries in the political, economic and cultural fields.
At present, there are 34 branches and 60 Specialized Committee in China, the United States, Latin American and Nigeria. The main branches are all the Top 500 companies or listed companies,most of their managers are representatives of the people's Congress or a member of the CPPCC. In India, it has 80 thousand square kilometers industrial park and the China-Indian Commerce Chamber will be landing in this Industrial park. The CAGA is responsible for the top floor design and investment of the park. It is responsible for coordinating liaison with the government and the relevant departments of India.
